Cafe Huftgold in Dusseldorf

Probably the best cake you can get in town - tastes like mom's :) Unfortunately no longer an insider tip, so long queues now in lockdown and when it works again, it will certainly be annoyingly full again. There are no parking spaces nearby either, so it's better to go on foot.

Always had breakfast there before work when Corona was still a beer. Definitely a nostalgic place for me personally and very good for breakfast.

Good, but not top notch. The cake is delicious but unfortunately something doesn't fit here. The price for the size of the cake pieces, or the cake pieces not for the price. Either prices down or the size of the pieces up. Seems a little overpriced to me. In terms of taste, the pieces we ate were all good, there's nothing wrong with that. But ... €€€€ Visit was before the lookdown.

Currently the most delicious mulled wine in Flingern! Homemade or self-refined, but in any case not just warmed up supermarket mulled wine! And as always, the tastiest nut wedges 🖤

They close SO early

5 stars for location and service. 4 stars for the food and drinks. There was chai latte, cheesecake, chocolate deluxe and tea. In terms of taste everything was okay, but unfortunately not a revolution. But the ambience and the nice and friendly service brought the whole thing back to 5 stars. The bad weather only makes everything more comfortable and increases the feeling of well-being;) Strengthened you can start wonderfully here and search the area for all the cuddle shops.

The cake was really extremely tasty. There is also a good selection of vegan cakes. Unfortunately a star deduction, as the prices are very high. Over € 3 for a piece of cake is definitely too much. If the pieces were bigger, that might still be okay. It's very tasty, but wouldn't go there again, because I can get cakes that are just as good for less in other places.

Great café, very cozy to sit in - whether inside or outside. Even if the service is often slow, the café and food are super delicious. That's why we always like to come back and give 5 stars! 😁

Cool place

I've been visiting Hüftgold for years. The shop gets very busy after 5pm and on weekends. However, this is not a criticism. In general, Hüftgold is not a quiet cafe. Coffee, cappuccino and cake are great, even if some good varieties are no longer available. Prices are fair for drinks and cakes. The service quality fluctuates. Some service staff are very nice and constant. Others are arrogant and don't even say thank you when you tip. I learned from it and I don't tip these people anymore. I am particularly referring to a younger waitress.

It's my favorite place to have breakfast while I'm staying In Dusseldorf. They have the best oatmeal and very good sandwiches.

In Café Hüftgold you can indisputably get the most delicious cake in Düsseldorf! All the cakes that I have been able to try here so far have been fantastic! The service fits in well with the cozy, relaxed ambience and makes a visit a must if you want to call yourself a Düsseldorf resident or visit the city. The coffee is also very good. Rightly it is almost always full.

Waited 20 minutes without even a hello from the server. Then she went outside, enjoyed a smoke with her friends, then came back and served some people who got there after us. Please... there are plenty of great cafes in this city that will treat you like a human. 🙄🙄🙄
